I’m Alex, a certified full-spectrum doula and your guide as you navigate the incredible journey of bringing new life into the world.

My journey into doula work was sparked by a profound desire to offer compassionate care and guidance during the birthing process. I am here to be your companion and advocate, providing a sense of strength and calmness as you navigate this transformative experience. I believe that everyone giving birth should have access to comprehensive care and be held with empathy. I am especially passionate about addressing the disparities in perinatal care, working towards creating a more equitable and inclusive birthing environment.

I weave together my passion for travel and the amazing realm of childbirth. Having lived in diverse locales, including the electric cityscape of Shanghai, China, I bring a wealth of worldly experience to my doula practice. My linguistic journey mirrors my global exploration, encompassing beginner-level Mandarin and a growing proficiency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and the beautiful cadence of her almost mother tongue, Haitian Creole.

When I’m not doulaing, you'll find me exploring the world, showering affection on random dogs, creating heartfelt poems, or nurturing new plant cuttings! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully joining you on the wild ride that is birth!
