From a young age, I have been fascinated by pregnancy, childbirth, and newborns; I would watch shows like A Baby Story, depicting various childbirth scenarios and I quickly caught on to the detached formulaic approach that doctors took toward pregnancy. I vividly recalled the story of my grandmother giving birth to all four of her children on her dining room table with the local midwife and I could not help but wonder why that was not the norm in today's society. ​ My ultimate goal is to demystify and remove the lens of fear that we have been taught to view birth through. Whether you want a completely unmedicated birth or a scheduled c-section, my goal is for you to feel confident and prepared for this fulfilling and life changing experience. ​ I believe that the need for caring, sensitive, and knowledgeable support during pregnancy and childbirth is becoming more and more apparent. I view every pregnancy as a miracle and as an experienced Doula, I feel honored to be able to contribute my expertise to all birthing people and families in the New York Metropolitan & Westchester areas.
