Hi! I'm Jhenielle, a certified birth doula serving expectant parents in Northern New Jersey and parts of Manhattan. I take a holistic approach to birthwork and prioritize connecting clients with other perinatal professionals that can support them during pregnancy and postpartum, because it truly takes a village. My interest in birthwork began in 2014 when she had the opportunity to live in Argentina and work with a team of doctors and midwives in a hospital in a rural province. It's important to me to provide evidence-based information to my clients to ensure that they have all of the information necessary to make informed decisions about what's best for them. Multidisciplinary care with other like minded providers is an essential part of my approach to making sure my clients are cared for and supported holistically throughout their pregnancy and postpartum experiences. 

In addition to my birth practice, I am a program manager with a philanthropic foundation working to create systems change and improve outcomes for birth givers in the state of New Jersey and nationwide. I love being able to work directly with expectant families and play a role in the larger birth equity landscape. 

When I'm not knee deep in all things birth, you can find me hiking, practicing yoga, listening to an audiobook, or planning my next trip.
